This course
focuses on building and refining financial models using advanced Excel skills
and techniques, with a specific focus on project finance. Participants will
learn how to select or build models, test and validate them, and utilize
worksheet functions, financial functions, pivot tables, and charts.
Additionally, participants will learn how to create macros and user forms to
automate repetitive tasks and share/link workbooks and import/export data. The
course will also cover project management concepts and tools to manage FP&A
projects from initiation to closure.
Evaluate the suitability of different models for different financial scenarios based on key parameters, such as interest rates, cash flow projections, and market trends.
Develop and refine models to accurately reflect the underlying financial data and identify key sensitivities and risks.
Use worksheet functions effectively to perform financial calculations and analysis.
Create clear and concise documentation within worksheets to support the use and interpretation of models.
Implement validation and error-checking measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial models and data.
